Twenty-Five Views Of Worthing - Rare Studio Recordings 1972 - 1977
First, the good news: it’s sometime in 1972 and your band have been signed to Island Records giving you access to the legendary Basing Street Studios where you start to record your debut. Now, the bad news: a year later, Island drop you and the half album you made goes unreleased, unloved, and left to gather dust.
That’s what happened to Twenty-Five Views Of Worthing. But several decades on and the Island session, along with several other later recordings, have been lovingly gathered to finally see the light of day on a lavish, limited edition, gatefold LP. As detailed in the accompanying expansive booklet, The Worthings, as they were known, paid their dues supporting Amon Düül II, Roxy Music, and others via their connection to Island Records’ live agency. Largely instrumental, with keyboards and sax to the fore, not to mention a brief appearance of a choir, Caravan and Soft Machine provide obvious points of inspiration. Sometimes wistful and boasting oodles of period charm, if parts show their age now and then, the energy and enthusiasm that originally fuelled the London-based quartet, has been deftly rekindled for a brand new 21st century audience.

Stern-Combo Meissen - Happiness Is Just Around The Band (Live 1976)
Track ''Happiness Is Just Around the Band'' is apparently a rework on Brian Auger's ''Happiness Is Just Around The Bend'', a nice, longer and majestic interpetation by the band with strong funky grooves and lovely organ as played by Auger, definitely a great cover.

Four Decades after WOODSTOCK, these fabulous recording sessions see the light of day for the first time. This album contains 5 studio tracks from 1969, recorded at the popular 'Mu House' by the panhandle in San Francisco's Haight & Ashbury where the likes of Janis Joplin, Grateful Dead, Paul Butterfield Blues Band with Michael Bloomfield frequently played music. Plus, 2 live tracks from 1970 du...
Doctor Feelgood - Something To Take Up Time 1971 (usa)
Doctor Feelgood evolved out of Boston’s North Shore music scene of the early 60s with Cooper, Corelle, and Winters having played in the rock band The Sensations. Later that band evolved into Teddy And The Pandas issuing a few singles on Musicor and eventually signing to Capitol’s Tower label for one album. Playing mostly covers, along with a few originals, they got plenty of gigs at local schoo...
Kada 1999
Kada is a Hungarian band which was founded in 1995 by guitarist László Válik who was always impressed by particular, form-breaking music. Calling their style "free-structural-progressive-avantgarde-rock-jazz-noise-core" (and all the preferred [linear] combinations of these), the band offers longer compositions which include both composed and improvised parts and musical noise models. Free struc...

🗣 I listened to the whole album. In my opinion, this is the *Best* song. However, the other songs are also solid !
Tuhle mám ráda...🙏
Not my taste. The regime probably ordered that. It's not rock nor jazz. Of course the Blue Effects and the Matadors were great
BY FAR the best thing they ever did
Had this album back in the 70s. Of all the tunes on the album, : the one that always stuck in my mind was "Multi-colored Taxicab"! Not every group made the big time even though they had talent. I guess the vagaries of the music industry was to blame and songs with drum solos that were too long.
Thanks Janek from Honest Guide to recommend this!
You are what you eat!! I love that track!! I remember it fron ChorleyWood ... a long time ago!
What a guitar player! is incredible how he was playing in 1971! Wow!
Its awesome to see Hladik nail that freak out section in My Game live. I was wondering, could he do it? And he did a bang up job. The solo itself isnt as good but that pre arranged intro and outro looks tough as hell and he did it. And the rest of the band especially the brass did fantastic, despite some errors here and there. Those brass parts are the show stealers and they destroyed it

prew syntesis album best this prety meh
kde bral v tej dobe tak drahe gibsony a apataty ???? ani hendrix nemal take delo. Kto mu pisal taketo zlozite aranze pre orchester ? a kto mu to dal cele k dispozicii ?????? To je mega an na dnesnu dobu

Na tento záznam jsem narazil až nyní. Excelentní, děkuji.
No to je uzasne dekuji....🙌✊👋🙆🚬🎸🇨🇿
Peacock Farm was semi-derelict for many years; but now survives as it's been rebuilt as a pub serving yet more housing development. Many original features of the buildings survive but I don't know whether the 'locals' are aware of its past.
I'm one of the too few people who bought this album back then.
I discovered Shampoo because of Mad Curry members.
Good old Embryo...😇
Visiting from the 'Critical Reactions' channel. This is awesome! The hits at 5:50ish remind me very much of Cressida's 'Assylum' album.
THAT sounds like Collegium Musicum,or Blue Effect from C'SSR ...at that Time.... !!!!! ????
Yes, they were great. One of the best Polish album ever. But take care, only this one album (Krywań, Krywań 1972) carry this high quality. Rest is less progressive. rockovica.com/recenzie/s/skaldowie/skaldowie-krywan-krywan-1972/?fbclid=IwAR3iZtKtBcbHDi0uo40fYqcr2NBDwAVXFwOFE5EJRVEHzbNVX2yEaXw6ca0_aem_AVYL0eMibVgTvFPNAWoN1-lUM8RP_RAEugcR76AKvZn4zAcZnf5qwAeKG3P1Uh4Vt1o#more-66827

Yes, indeed….and Electra was probably the first to cover this great song.
Ta gradace na konci je neskutečná. Úžasný počin.
I was a backing singer for this group at the Palace Theatre in Watford!
Very cool! Live a long wonderful life, Marilyn!
